M.D. Woodford Monument, Spring Grove Cemetery

Melancthon Dewitt Woodford was a railroad executive, president of the Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton and the Indiana, Decatur & Western railway companies.  He was born in Fredonia, New York in 1838 and died in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1907.

He lived at 267 Burnet Avenue in Clifton.
